Jump Start at the YMCA
Available FREE to all YMCA members. A Jump Start appointment is fitness consultation and is a perfect way to elevate your fitness regimen—whether it’s your first time in a gym or you’re a Y regular. Meet and greet a wellness coach and start building a wellness relationship in which your exercise history, goals, wellness interests and medical issues are all considered. This is not only an opportunity to learn about machines, it’s a chance to map out your wellness plan while learning more about what resources you have at your fingertips. One-on- one exercise with a certified personal trainer who will help you reach your goals through assessment, motivation, hands-on assistance and instruction. Great for beginners, advanced exercisers and experienced athletes wanting to fine tune their workout. Expect a variety of exercises combining cardiovascular fitness, weight training and flexibility. Your trainer will carefully consider postural alignment, muscle balance and core strength when designing your personal wellness program.
We have Tot Watch programs for busy parents while working out at the Y! It’s a great way for you and your children to burn off some extra energy!
