Group Exercise

Group Exercise is about making friends in your health community. Get a fun, energetic workout while you move to the beat in the camaraderie of others.

 

Classes are held in different areas throughout the Y. We strive to accommodate all fitness levels. If you are new to a class, please let your instructor know. Modifications may be recommended. You are encouraged to work at your own pace. Have fun!

Jump Start at the YMCA

The YMCA of Lansing is proud to announce Jump Start, a new approach to wellness. Jump Start is a philosophy, empowering individuals to tailor their own path to a healthier lifestyle by choosing how they will accomplish their health and wellness goals. It means choices, options, and lots of support as you choose your path to a healthier lifestyle.

 

Personal Training

Personal Training at the Y is about learning correct form, connecting one-on-one with your trainer, and being pushed to your fullest potential. All of our trainers are certified, very knowledgeable, and will help you understand the importance of each exercise. Using various training techniques, they will help you push past your perceived physical limits, while helping you meet your specific goals.
